Chili Feta:
Feta gets its salty taste and distinct texture because it is aged in brine, which is nothing more than salt water. However, this feta has a little kick too it as well. It is made with chilli mixed straight into the curd as it is being put into its mould. The result is a spicy salty cheese that can be grated on pizza or added to a sandwich, it can even add a bit of spice and flavour to an eclectic cheese plate. It is made from pure goat milk, and there is a slice of bright red pepper skin on top to give it a distinct look, and to serve as an implicit warning: this cheese is as spicy as it looks. St. Jo Feta:
The St Jo feta is a plain goats milk feta that does all things one would expect a feta to extremely well, like go into a Greek salad for example. However, what really distinguishes this feta from most of its brine ripened kind is that it doesn’t fall flat on its face and embarrass itself on a cheese plate. It is flavoured with Kalamata olives and a blend of other herbs and rosemary. It is coated with olive oil too, and that helps the flavour to penetrate right to its core. Ingredients |
